Running Coaching
A selection of flexible coaching packages that lead to great results for your marathon.
Rather than a more rigid training plan written months in advance, I’ll review your runs and update your plan weekly or monthly, meaning we optimise your performance and recovery. Truly personalised strength, mobility and technique work are all included, with regular catch-ups via video call to give you the level of support you want.
Running Coaching Packages
Weekly Running Coaching
The most common way for athletes to be coached. I check Garmin Connect to analyse your training before our weekly call, and set the following week’s sessions according to your needs.
Monthly Running Coaching
Monthly Coaching is more akin to a training plan, but instead of being left with a PDF of your plan which is fixed and left to you, I give you support. I check your training on Garmin Connect before our calls which are monthly, and agree the coming month’s worth of training.
More support than a training plan. Lower cost than Weekly Coaching.
Weekly or Monthly Coaching PLUS
Whether you choose a Weekly or Monthly package, you may well want an additional 60-minute studio session each month. We use the studio sessions to check out your strength, technique and mobility improvements or for sports massage if you prefer.
Your programme is then tweaked and we progress your training as needed, meaning more improvement and variety.
1-2-1 Running Coaching
Ideal for people who want to leave no stone un-turned. In addition to the online coaching plan, we swap our weekly video calls for a weekly 60-minute in-person session where we check-in on your progress, then used advanced strength training and stretching techniques and gym equipment for faster progress.

Hill running form – run faster and/or more easily up and down hills.
Nutritional advice – face-to-face or via Zoom we look at how you can adjust food intake to reach your running goals.

“We identified areas of my form that we could work on via strength work and drills. On race day I absolutely felt the benefits of this groundwork, I felt strong. Strength work and drills is something I’d paid lip service to previously as it’s not something you can put on Strava, and if it’s not on Strava does it count? (turns out that it absolutely does).
